How we measure people.

I have noticed,

We as a society measures peoples importance in the community by their ability to consume. We do this all the time. We label people High Class, Middle Class, and Low Class.

If people are High Class they have lots of money, fast cars, many cars, big homes, big diamonds, big tv's, loud stereos, expensive clothes, big and fast boats, cottages, villas, summer homes, winter homes, big offices, and important jobs.

If you are Low Class they have little or no money, old or no car, small or no home, no diamonds, no tv, no stereo, old clothes, no boats, no cottages, no villas, no summer homes, no winter homes, no office, and sometimes no job.

We live in a world that has to consume. If you dont consume you are not needed. Buy, buy, buy, spend spend spend.

What happens when there is no more oil to make all the things we buy?

Will people ever figure out that Xmas is not about how much money you spend or how many gifts you get, but about how many friends and family you have and how much time you can spend with them.

Will my Wife love me less if I don't buy her a $1000 ring but give her a hug and tell her how much I appriecate all she does for me. No. Mind you the ring will help.

We as a planet need to find a better way of surviving. We cannot continue to consume. When there is no more to consume.... what will fill the void.

Don't as Paris Hilton. Are people like her really considered respectable, High Class people? I mean what has she ever done to deserve this? Has she ever written a book that has bettered human kind? Has she ever cured any illnesses? Has she found a way to eliminate pollution? She is important cause she is rich, dumb, and sexy.This is sad. We should consider her Low Class.

Just remember. Life is a waste of time. Time is a waste of Life. Be wasted all the time. And have the time of your Life.
